One suggestion to help the economy.

Get rid of the laws and rehabilitation programs that aren't worth the paper they're written on.  Rehabilitation programs don't work.  Some say, if we save one person, it's worth it.  Yeah, and the other 99 are out there destroying people's lives.  What a bunch of crap!

Face it. Criminals care as much about rehabilitation as they do about our laws. Why should they change their lifestyle and go from making thousands of dollars a week or, in some cases per day, to slinging burgers for next to nothing?  They're not stupid, just corrupt.

The only people who benefit from these unrealistic programs are the lawyers who write them and the people who spend their days  filling out useless paperwork, implementing them. 

Once convicted, put these criminals away and leave them there. Don't feel bad for them, it was their choice to be a bad guy instead of a good one like the rest of us.
