ASININE COMMENTS

Typically, but not limited to the 'Cop Shows', late night shows.  Why is it that they show their lack of intelligence, by asking a perpetrator [say a drunk driver, or the 'redneck', with the marijuana cigarette behind his ear]  "Do you mind if I search your vehicle" ; or "Do you mind if I place you under arrest".. On Late night television {Jay Leno, etc} When they do the on-street interviews, and the persons being questioned hasn't the slightest clue (reflection of our very poor educational system) as to the correct answer. IE: Where is the Brooklynn Bridge located? Where is the Washington Monument located. The answers, usually by a college student/graduate, go like this - The Brooklynn Bridge is in San Francisco. Or the Washington Monument is located in Seattle Washington.

Can we get a refund, for the taxpayer dollars spent, teaching these 'knowledge challenged' individuals?
