During the Bush years liberals would go absolutely ballistic at the mention of Halliburton. I can't count the number of times they called my show and started screaming and yelling about "no-bid" contracts awarded to Halliburton by the Bush Administration. I would try to explain that these contracts were awarded through a procedure set up during the Clinton Administration, but to no avail. Bush was President, Halliburton was getting no-bid contracts, and that's all these people need to know to determine that something evil was afoot.

Well now ... it seems that the Obama Administration has awarded a $500 million contract to Halliburton .. and there were no bids. Uh oh. A no-bid contract to Halliburton. I'll be waiting for those very same people who condemned Bush to be calling the show today to condemn
