Oblivious Cell Usage (in the car)
This comes from me just witnessing an accident in my own neighborhood that could have been far worse. Some ditz on her phone, almost hit a group, not one, but a group of kids (not even playing in the street, they were on the shoulder). Her son / nephew (don't know who he was, just a young boy) grabbed the wheel from the idiot at the last second, and they ended up hitting a parked car, and a bush.
I have no problem with people on cell phones, as long as they're in an area "acceptable" for use. You really shouldn't whip it out where it can interfere with anything like at a theater or hospital, or in any service-based area (i.e. a drive-through while someone's trying to take your order) because it's just plain rude. However, if you are the type of person that gets so totally engrossed in the conversation you're having, that you forget to pay attention to what's going on around you, put the phone away in the car please. You're going to hurt someone when really, you're the dumb@$$ who deserves to have something happen to them.
It only takes a few morons getting into accidents before the government feels like it has to interfere with everyone else's lives and regulate their usage (New York State anyone?). If you can handle driving while on the phone, by all means talk until you're blue in the face. It's on you to know which type of person you are and do the responsible thing.

Many people can't do 2 ...
Many people can't do 2 things at the same time. Talking and driving is one of them. I know many people who can't divide their attention equally between driving and cell phone. I wish these people would see their limitations and do one at a time!! Eventually the good is gonna have to suffer for the bad in this case because if this keeps up none of us will be able to talk and drive. It will be outlawed. That may work out to be a good thing in the long run if it cuts down on accidents. But I won't like it.
also holding up traffic ...
also holding up traffic behind you while they are chatting on the cell phone and in their own world...going 10-15 miles lower than the speed limit...most of the time if you get past them and can see into the car they are talking on a cell phone....I give them a dirty look or hold my hand up to my ear and mouth"GET OFF THE CELL PHONE!!!"
Oh my god I do the SAME ...
