Wow, u must think you are pretty cool...talking on your cellphone...does that make you feel super popular?

I am not a cellphone hater - I have one and I luv it... But I strongly feel that just because you have a cellphone doesn't mean you have to be enslaved to it! 

IF you are having a good time with the people you are with - why do you need to put them on hold to make them listen to your one sided conversation?  Um, personally I just think that is RUDE.

I'm not saying that you can't take personal calls in public, especially important calls we have been waiting on or unexpected emergencies...I am pretty sure that everyone does it from time to time...we totally get that...

BUT - if your friend is just calling to chit chat, be considerate to the friends that you made plans with and keep the call brief.  Let the caller know that you are otherwised engaged and perhaps take a few extra seconds make arrangements to call them later. 

Or if it is that stinking important(maybe your caller is on the verge of a psychotic break or it is the eye candy you have been drooling over for weeks the one that you gave your digits to at the bar and they are finally calling you back)- kindly put them on hold for a quick second, apologize to your friends in the room for the interruption - tell your friend(s) that you are going to be a few minutes, then(if possible) leave the room or move to a quiet area where you can take your fancy pantz super urgent phone call in privacy.

Unless of course you can barely tolerate the people you are with, and then by all means, let us know exactly how unimportant we are to you and who you would rather be with.  Duh on us for not getting that already... ;) lol  - yes, I know, I am a bee-batch :)
