Answering machines

I can not stand people try to be cute with their outgoing answering machine message.  Just because you love the "Bonanza" theme song doesn't mean I want to hear it everytime I leave you a message. Or better yet letting your 3 year old record the message. Of course you understand them they are your kid! But to us it's a bunch of babble it's not cute. If you can't resist the temptation to be cute or funny then don't record a message. That's why the machines come with a generic pre-programmed message!
