This One is for the Guys...
I went shopping today at the local Mall for clothing, what a frustrating experience! On the occasion when I found a store where men's clothing was sold there were 100 racks of women's clothing and maybe 10 racks for men, of those 10 racks 8 were for teenage boys. I think men over 30 look sleazy when they dress like an 18 year old, I hate the whole hip-hop trash clothes being worn today. Why can't stores stock higher class clothing for men? I ended up so frustrated that I didn't end up buying anything.

Tell me about it. I don't even like the business clothes that is out there now. What every happened to the dress slackes and the nice shirts? Now it is hiphuggers and low cut shirts.

what is weird, the stores either want you to wear something your 17 year old daughter would wear, or something your 67 year old mother wears. There really isn't much for in-between

my mom is 49 also, but alot of time, I swear she is stuck in retro.....she was still wearing those big colorful plastic 80's beads before the stores started selling them again, and we are not even going to go to the tie dye.....

And I like the comment about Banana Republic. Their clothes work for people in their 30s and 40s and it is not super expensive. Whenever I see something there I like, I just go back in two weeks when it is on sale!

large women have the same kind of problem rkinne01. AND i would like to know what idiot came up with the idea to put stretchy jersy with big sideways stripes on large women? i would never put that on and shudder everytime i see someone wearing them.

don't even TALK about clothes for MY SIZE!! I HATE SHOPPING FOR CLOTHES!! stein mart is pretty awesome, I can find SOME nice dressy things there, but it gets pricey.

Womens' clothing occupies something like 80% of all clothing racks. The reason is that women spend more on clothing, have closets stuffed with things they never wear, wear things only once because they couldn't possibly wear it again once they've already "been seen" in that, and they need the same things in every color of the rainbow.
Men are more sensible, wear things more than once, don't need one in every flavor of the same item, and so the stores make less money off of us. Unfortunately, they go too far to the extreme. We do still need to dress in something! They often act as if we don't even buy/wear clothes.

Granted..I don't wanna dress like my daughter..but I don't want to dress like an old lady either!!
