For snowkat

This is for snowkat. I made a list for each kid, and the stuff they can do to help out. Kaylie is almost 5, so she can do more, and has more of a list. Reese is almost 4, so her list is soon to be expanding. I will put down on the bottom what the list says, cause I don't think you will be able to read it from the pics.

make your bed, put up toys, pick up shoes and clothes, feed the dogs, help fold laundry (like pants or socks), help wash laundry (they like to throw the soap in and clothes in the washer), put up dishes, rinsing dishes, gahering trash, listening, no fits, no trouble, doing as told.

These things are little, but it helps out more than you think. After a while, they will be doing it with out being prompted, just to get a sticker.

girl it works, and your kids are never young enough to help out. It maybe cost $3 to make the chart and buy the sticker packs. THey have the charts that have a grid printed on them, and that is what I used

I can get my daughter to help put the laundry in the dryer and sometimes she can put things in the washer depending on the size of it. My son would rather bang his trucks into each other and make lots of noise. I have to play the clean up game with Sarah to get her to help clean up her room. Shawn doesn't have many toys in his room to play with. His toys are all outside (they are tonka trucks). The kids try to help but they are both afraid of the vacuum and steam cleaner and I won't let them help with the dishes. I need something to eat off of.

lol......we used to try to break mom's dishes so she wouldn't make us help. I only let them put up silverware and tuperware. That and MAYBE cups if I am right there....

I think I will mow the yard, trim the sidewalk and areas around the landscaping, burn the unwanted brush in the burn pit, buy my hubby a chainsaw, build a new toolshed for hubby to use when he gets home from Iraq Slappy. My daughter likes to ride the riding mower but she already like to play with sharp things and breakable things. I would rather her not run over her brother with the lawnmower or weedeater. But nice ideas for the houseguest to do.

my daughters help take the sheets off their bed, and help bring groceries in from the car and mop their room ( I have to re-do it b/eshe is only 4) but I don't know why I never put them on my list. I have to start a new list soon, so I will make sure to add them
