my crazy day

Yesterday I had the WEIRDEST day! bear with me, it may get a little long! LOL!

First it was my sis-in-law, Elaine's b-day so she wanted to go to I-hop for breakfast and we have people in from "Bahston" cuz we had a family wedding on Sat. So, I got to I-hop first and the waiter Rene came asked for my drink order and brought it right away and I told him that my friends were pulling up as we spoke, saw them in the parking lot. When they came in he came right back and got their drink orders too and THAT was the LAST we saw of him! We waited over 10 minutes before the 2 people with us from out of town couldn't wait for their coffee anymore! they hunted him down and he FINALLY brought the coffee and other drinks. he also took our food order and the food arrived in a timely manner BUT was all WRONG! the waiter had a weird Hispanic accent and seemed to be new. My eggs were wrong (I don't eat runny over easy eggs, only scrambled), everyone else did order over easy/medium eggs and they weren't right either. we had to ask for syrup and drink refills, these things should come automatically!! BUT that's not the kicker! When we were finished, we waited for him to bring the bill and NEVER did, we SO wanted to walk out on him but as we walked to the register, he saw us and checked us out to pay the bill and I DIDN'T pay him, someone else did. After we walked outside, we see him running up to us at the car and he came to ME, (ME!) and I had to ask him TWICE cuz I wasn't sure if I heard him right BUT he asked me if the service was good!!!!???? HELLO!!?? I said it was OK and he said (GET THIS!!), "Oh, cuz I didn't see a TIP." ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? I have NEVER had anyone chase me out a restaurant looking for a TIP!!!! I guess he asked me cuz I was the first one there but I didn't pay for the meal!!  Ask the one who paid, for the tip!!

Then later picking up my oldest daughter from school, traffic is crazy cuz there are about 5 schools in a 3 block area and school buses are all over the place, BUT this ONE bus was at the light and would NOT turn! she had the blinker on and even cars from the opposite direction was waiting to let her turn but after 4 green lights came and went, I got outta my truck and started asking what was wrong but she finally moved but then she stopped in front the school and wouldn't move then either, so the crossing guy came and made her move and I asked him as I passed him what her problem was and he said that she was picking up an autistic child and had to wait for them!!! HELLO, NOT BY BLOCKING SCHOOL TRAFFIC!!!

After that on the interstate, I saw a police car RUSH, and I mean really fast on the right shoulder of the interstate, right past me and I saw him stop up ahead and I see a guy coming thru the grass on the side of the interstate and he RUNS INTO RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC TO CUT ACROSS THE INTERSTATE!!!! I had to brake real hard. I'm guessing the cop was after him! Later I hear on the radio that the interstate was closed down on the opposite side from where I was at that time and they didn't know why. I guess it was because of that guy though, either he got HIT by a car or they were trying to catch him!!

WEIRD DAY!!
