I personally think its both natural and man made. All the things we do have an impact on the environment, deforesting the rain forests for example. I believe that we may be moving towards a naturally occuring ice age but the crap we pump into the air, water, and land is probably speeding up the process.

First off: It's not GLOBAL warming. Mars is warming too. If you want to be PC about it... it's UNIVERSAL warming.

Second. It's not man made. The earth has gone through cycles before, BEFORE THERE WERE FACTORIES AND SUV's. If what we are going through was strictly limited to earth, I would say it is another cycle. But it's not limited to earth.

Third: "the crap we pump".... Seriously now. What do you think a volcano shoots out? Oxygen? NO.

Finally: First + Second + Third = THE SUN IS GETTING HOTTER.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go outside and plant some brain seeds. Not like there's any snow up here to get in my way. While we're on the "Global Warming" subject. I would like to mention that Anchorage is FOURTEEN INCHES below average snowfall. This is not because our temperatures are much warmer (we are REAL close to average temperatures) We just don't have snow falling. Or maybe I'll just buy walter a plane ticket to Alaska so he and I can go build a volcano together!! :-D

1. Mars has seasons just like earth it goes through seasons, the surface has summer and winters just like earth. We've only just begun to chart Mars, so we have no idea what long term temps are.

2. Right. Factories pump acid into lakes and air, that has no effects on it does it? SUV's put out exhaust. Lets lock you in a garage with a car running the see if you don't change your mind. Chernobyl has had a horrendus affect on the environment, do your research.

The town I live in has one of the highest cancer rates in the country. The reason is due to a chemical company pumping god knows what into the water and air (they've been caught doing it). Proof? The cancer rates drop the further you get from the chemical factories. If those chemicals are doing that to us, what are they doing to wildlife, plants, and the planet?

3. Volcanos spew ash and debris into the air which can obscure sunlight preventing heat from reaching the surface. Volcanoes don't cause global warming.

4. The sun is getting hotter? Partly true, the surface of the sun has spots on it that are exceptionally hot and others that are cooler.

Ok Let's stop being RETARDS and start looking at FACTS not what Al Gore *wants* you to believe.

1. MARS IS WARMING - there was a post a few months ago about it. Read the news. Inform your brain before you try and talk about things you don't know about.

2. There were no factories during the last big chill. Shit, Underneath Alaska there is PARADISE. There was no factories, no suv's, no chernobyl when that paradise vanished. (Maybe YOU should be locked in your garage, I bet with the limited brain cells you have you would survive).

Cancer - What the FUCK does cancer have to do with global warming? And besides that - cancer is a lie. If you buy into it, I'm sorry to hear that. But that's exactly what you are doing - BUYING. I was told I had cancer. I didn't do anything about it. What do you know, a year and a half later and I don't have it anymore. Because they couldn't make money off me by having me put myself through things like Chemo and radiation - why the hell would I want to poison myself?

3. Volcanos also produce gases. And magma. Last time I checked maga was pretty freakin hot. Hmmm... LETS READ THAT ARTICLE!!! What does it say?? Oh wow - there's a HOT SPOT under Greenland that is causing the glaciers to melt. Hmmm.. maybe it says what a Hot Spot is... OH LOOK - a hot spot is caused by maga... HOLY CRAP there could be a volcano under there.
Do you not know how to comprehend what you read? Or are you so blind that you didn't even read the news article that link goes to?

4. The sun IS getting hotter. Again... READ THE FUCKING NEWS and stop listening to Al's lies.

On a personal note - I think this planet could use some clensing.
