THE PEOPLE ON THE MESSAGE BOARDS AT MSN ARE STUPID IMMATURE IDIOTS!!! you can't have a decent conversation, simply stating facts and/or opinions without them getting defensive!!! we were talking about the best albums of 2007 and there was a lot of disagreement with the list MSN put out. I had only heard of 2 or 3 of the artists on there, never heard of the rest and then people start bashing ME when I posted what I liked and didn't like!! GROW UP PEOPLE!!!

Dawn when people start bashing you, make them justify what they are saying. Ask them why they are getting so defensive. It really shakes them up to have to stand behind what they say. If they keep bashing, tell them that they are only showing their immaturity by not providing constructive reasons for their opinions. If you play the game right, you can embarass these types into silence. Works in all sorts of situations.

yeah, I tried to do something like that Sam and asked them WHY did they have to start bashing and calling names, they called me ignorant, childish and said that I must be 8yrs old. but NO one had an answer to WHY they called me names, they only got defensive and called more names.

Dawn those types are just the adult version of the school yard bully, all yap as long as they can hide behind something to protect themselves. Tell them that and advise that in future you do not respond to immature fools. You have a right to state your opinion about them just as they feel they have a right to call you names. Tell them that by resorting to name calling it simply proves they have no valuable comments to offer to the message board and that from that point on you will ignore them. Ignoring those types usually bothers them more than anything as they are like children who behave badly in order to get attention. Message boards and forums on the net are full of these type. They behave like jackasses in order to get attention. Guess Mommy must have ignored them as kids so they have to try to make up for it now.
