I'm sad
I went out drinking with a group of friends, and that was really cool, we had a good time, had some margharitas, some food, danced. Then when I left my car was boxed in, i couldn't move it at all! I left last, so everyone was already gone, so my butt had to walk home. In the cold. Uphill. It was dark and kinda scary and my buzz is totally gone! Plus I have to walk all the way back tomorrow for my car!

My thoughts were that maybe she could have called one of her friends to come back and pick her up..but if they were drinking too...dumb idea...
Before I walked that far hon, I would have called a cab, but then again...years ago when I was naive...I got a ride home from a bar 20 miles away..and walked 20 miles to get my parent's car cos I was too nice to bother anyone for a ride at 6 am on a Sunday morning. :)

People who park in a driving lane
Almost every week when I go to my local grocery store there is someone parked in front of the store in the lane that people use to get from one section of the parking lot to the other. Sometimes they even park in front of the stop sign at the PED crossing. So you pull up behind them thinking they will be moving along momentarily, BUT, NO! they have PARKED at the stop sign and are waiting for someone in the store! When I honk my horn for them to move, they wave for me to go around. I AM NOT going to pull out into the on-coming lane and block traffic so you can sit on your lazy butt in front of the store because YOU are TOO SPECIAL to park like a normal person!!!
I don't have a problem with people stopping briefly to let someone out of the car and then pull forward and find a space while they wait (the parking lot is NEVER full), or they can drive around the lot and circle back when the person comes out. IT IS JUST RUDE SELFISH BEHAVIOR TO BLOCK THE ROAD WHILE OTHERS ARE BACKED UP BEHIND YOU!!! My bet is that these are the same people who park their carts in the middle of the grocery aisle and chat on their cell phones. When you politely say "Excuse me" while trying to get by, they scowl at you as though you had done something wrong - again IT IS JUST RUDE SELFISH BEHAVIOR ! People have become so self-absorbed and oblivious to the world around them - what happened to basic manners and common sense?
