The boyfriend should have ...

The boyfriend should have notified authorities A LONG TIME AGO!!! WTF was he thinking ... that her behavior was normal?! Puh-leez!

Why should the boyfriend ...

Why should the boyfriend be charged? This woman is a grown adult who would have done this had he been there or not. What was he supposed to do drag her out kicking and screaming?

no, he didn't have to drag ...

no, he didn't have to drag her out but the "responsible" thing to do - (if he really cared) would be to get some help for her. he knew that there was something wrong with her because it is not normal to live in a bathroom. some part of him must have liked keeping here there.

I had to read the extra ...

I had to read the extra article about her skin became fused to the toilet seat. That is just so gross on many levels. There are two sick individuals involved with this case.

I agree with rkinne01. There really should not be any charges bought against her, especially since she cause this to herself.

Remember, she is the one with the phobia. He was trying to do his best help her, but she refused to budge. I don't he would have wanted to have the charges of assault and battery brought against him for dragging her out forcefully, seeing as it would have done his position no better than if he had done nothing to confort her.

The best solution for this should be some kind of counseling. Sessions involving BOTH of them to help confront and ease the pain of the phobia would be preferred, and just have a better effect on their relationship too.

I have to agree with rkinne01..

Why should charges be brought up against HIM (the boyfriend)?? SHE was the one with the phobia..he went on with his life..and I'm sure all his friends knew about his so called "girlfriend" sitting in the shitter day in and day out. What the hell was the guy supposed to do...bring in all of his friends and take her ass out bodily??

THEN they would have been hauled in for abuse while peeling her ass off the toilet seat!!

The chick needed psychological help is all..and hopefully..after all this..she got it. If not..she's got one sore ass in the process!!

LOL!!

<p>Well, even if the ...

Well, even if the boyfriend had gotten medical help for her earlier, she still would have been within her rights to refuse to cooperate. She could just as easily said no to medical personnel just like she did to the boyfriend. Her life wasn't in danger -- although clearly she has mental issues -- so there would have been no way to "make" her leave the bathroom

I do have to wonder where the boyfriend did his business. I can only hope the dwelling had two bathrooms!
