Product Peeves
Why does everything have to be made with the black glossy plastic these days? My computer mouse and MP3 player are both like this, its like they are made to be finger print magnets! You can not keep them clean for any length of time.
Why do these store package products in that rigid package that you have to cut through? You what I am talking the packaging that you get cut on all the time! I thought torture was against the law!
I hate when you go to a store to buy a product they have locked in a glass cabinet and can not find an employee to open the damn thing! They must hide and laugh at you while you wait.
I also hate when you go to buy a game, for example, that was advertised but sold out, they wanna sub a game you have ZERO interest in. Just gimme a damn rain check!
My sister recently bought a new computer at BestBuy, I wrote a list of things to look for and what she did not need. I told her not to let them sell her antivirius software, the free software is better than McAfee or Nortons! She says they practically twisted her arm telling her that she HAD to purchase the security software or her PC would be destroyed! She called me and put me on the phone to this guy and told him she didn't need Norton's products because they suck lemon rinds! I told him to give her the computer package she wanted and nothing more. I hate the high pressure salesmen they're scum, but then again people need to get informed before they go and buy crap!

i hate those plastic ...
i hate those plastic packages. i have arthritis and sometimes (when my hand hurts) it's hard to cut the plastic. i usually use a knife but then have problems trying to pull the damn thing apart because i can't grip like i used to.

I just get tired from cutting up my hands and fingers from pulling it apart or just to take everything out of the packages. I also hate having to put toys together that take the strength of many people to hammer a tiny piece into place that holds the whole thing together.
and what about when you ...
and what about when you try to hammer that tiny piece just where it belongs and it breaks? just try to get a replacement.
High pressure sales people ...
High pressure sales people are usually lying. I just walk away.
In the past on several occasions I have found that I am short parts or screws, etc., when trying to assemble something and as you say just try to get that piece. Most of those "require some assembly" items have a list showing what is supposed to be included. To save frustration I now check everything and if so much as one screw is missing I return the whole thing. When I get to the store one of two things happen; either I get a complete new one or suddenly they find they just happen to have a replacement part on hand.
I agree with all.
