That KNEW Brett Favre was NOT staying 'retired'! In fact, the SECOND he uttered the line in his retirement speech, 'I can still play' I knew it wasn't gonna last. I WAS surprised it lasted as long as it did!!! WHY oh WHY did Vegas not take my bet for this???

I'm sorry Walter--- all of us at the Broke Spoke in the Kiln knew he couldn't quit and I guess we spoiled those odds so Vegas wouldn't take the bets. Some of the family are worried about injuries at his age, but Brett has to decide for himself if he wants to take the punishment.

Hey Peevers--- his name is Favre--- pronounced to rhyme with carve--- is a French derivative name. Frankly, I'd rather he hung up his jersey now than getting injured or end his career on a sour note.
Whatever his name--- at least it fits nicely on his jersey--- not like trying to get Rothlisberger on there.
It's a toss up who loves Brett the most-- all of us around his home or all the wonderful people in Wisconsin who adopted him. Yep, we are "cheeseheads" down here. We also are "parrotheads". That means we love our cheese with a good Jimmy Buffet margarita---ahhhhhhhhhhh!
