ok, this is something i need opinions on...
next friday i leave for florida for a wedding (and staying to make a week long vacation out of it). i am having a hard time finding an appropriate dress that fits and looks good on me (damned birthin' hips!). what i need are HONEST opinions. i dont care if you say i look like a cow. i need to know so i dont, well, look like a cow at the wedding. lol. is this appropriate for a miami wedding at 6pm? the belt is patent leather and the dress seems to be a cotton/acrylic blend.

Cute dress!! It looks nice on you, girl!!! It's perfect for a wedding in Florida. I live in Orlando, but grew up in Miami and it's HOT as hell right now!! Trust me. If the reception is in a garden or outside, that dress would look really cute with a nice big hat! Strappy sandals and you are SET! Have fun and relax. I've photographed well over 1,000 weddings so I can tell you without a doubt that the dress will do just fine. I also like the floppy hat idea.

oh, nestle, the wedding is not early. its at 6pm. thats what i was worried about as far as being too casual for an evening wedding. but i dont see this wedding as being very fancy. the invitations are home printed and she is only registered with bed bath and beyond. so im assuming its a lower budget wedding. nothing TOO fancy.

im thinking for my hair a high ponytail. for my sandals im thinking more of a nude (hehehehe) or beige color rather than white. i think white sandals will make my feet stand out too much. i would like to get my hair cut before the wedding but i dont have it in my budget. i really REALLY hope my dad gives me some money. he usually does for things like this. *crosses fingers* i could use the extra moolah.
