Trouble comes in threes is a self fulfilling prophecy. It will always happen is you say so because after three you say "aha, see? It happened again" and reset that imaginary counter.

The exact same thing would happen if you said trouble comes in 4's or in 12's or 178's.

However, one day I had an epiphany. I realized there is a number that trouble does come in that's absolutely positively true and doesn't rely on that ill logic. Trouble comes in ones. LOL.

The whole threes thing is so messed up that if you ask most people how many planes the terrorists hijacked and crashed on 911 they will answer "three" with all certainty. Isn't that odd? Did you think it was three? I'll bet many of you did. Think again.

Their bodies go the same places as everyone else: Either they're buried and become worm food, are burned and stuffed in a bottle or spread out somewhere, set out to sea to become fish food, or frozen if you're into cryrogenics and have the dough.

The soul however lives on through those you touch while you're here. Every one of us is influenced by those who came before us, those who we knew and many who we never did know but who left their marks in lasting ways. Perhaps through the arts be it of the literary, performance, or 2d or 3d variety, or through architecture, or teachings that were passed down. We all create such influences daily whether we are aware of it or not.

Or you can believe in that which has never been proven. All religions are based on the supernatural. The natural is what we know to be fact. The rest is there if you want it to be, all in your head.

I believe in reality. It's a pretty cool concept that more people ought to give a try. At least it suits me just fine. Lots of folks are into it these days. You might even say it's a "movement". Better watch out though. It's terribly threatening to some for whatever reason. They seem to have a problem with any ideas that challenge their beliefs with actual facts.

Peevers, it really tickled my funny bone to see that some of you have the "three" rule. So do I.

Never said that only SUV's roll over, only that they are more prone to it happening and they are.

Why resort to lies so often?

Facts, reality - good things.
Lies, believing in what you wish was true instead of what's proven (such as global warming) - bad.
