I say great for the farmer. It's not like he put the farm there AFTER they bought the houses. I hate people like this. There are a bunch of abondonded cars on my property line I will donate to him!!
I wonder if the tree huggers will object. I saw screw them too!

Good for him. If they ...
Good for him. If they don't like the conditions that they are exposed to living next to a FARM then they can get the f*** out.
He gave them the option to ...
He gave them the option to pay for half the fence, so I'm glad he used cars when they said no!! Kinda pathetic they "love the view" but can't take the smell... BUY A PAINTING or take a freakin' picture!
You are so right, he was ...
You are so right, he was there first, and they bought knowing there was a farm there, and now they want to change him and his land. That is not fair!
<p>I saw that on TV. It ...
I saw that on TV. It was crystal clear the guy with the farm and the autos had a chip on his shoulder larger than his little chunk of land he calls a farm. He complained and complained about suburban sprawl and those people complaining about farms when they move out there right next to them. That's why he made that monstrosity he made, NOTTTT BECAUSE THEY COMPLAINED ABOUT HIM FIRST.!
Now, I might be right along with the guy had there been any complaints by those people who moved out there next to his farm and then complained. Only one problem. They interviewed one of those neighbors, one with his property that is directly alongside the farm with the monstrosity chip on shoulder protest extraordinaire. Guess what? The guy thinks it's cool. He agrees that the crazed farmer (my words, not his) has the right to put up that stuff and he has a right to free speech and his point is valid - just not there. He says he isn't against it, NEVER complained about being next to the farm and, so far as he knows, NONE of the people there had EVER complained. The farmer dude didn't back up his claim of people complaining with ANYthing to support his claim. So it seems he's just a nutcase with no good reason to try and torment his neighbors. That's sick and very sad. Who's the problem there? It doesn't seem to be the newcomers after all. That surely happens but not this time from the looks of it. It's just one very messed up farmer with a stick up his ass.
OH YEAH - "Davis said he offered to pay for half the cost of a fence between his property and the others and to build it. He said his neighbors declined the offer, saying it would block their view." SOOOOOOO, HE'S ON THE DEFENSIVE NOW, OFFERING A CONCESSION? LOL!!!!!!! AND THE NEIGHBORS? THEY DIDN'T MIND THE VIEW, THEY VALUE IT. SO HIS CLAIMS ARE BULL. Actions speak so much louder than words. He says he'll block the view but that's BS because they like it and liked it all along. I'm sure they like it less now that he put the cars there but they were not whining about the view. He's a liar. In the end he even concedes "He said he doesn't intend to keep the cars up permanently.
"These can come out just as easy as they went in,"
OK, so he was just pulling a stunt for attention like a little child. It's rare to see this. It usually IS the sprawl people who come out to the country and make the fuss but in this case it's pretty clear it's the nutcase farmer dude. He's not wrapped all that tightly. If he actually did have a problem with his new suburban spraw neighbors complaining, he could ignore them!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!! Now if they brought their supposed (I repeat *SUPPOSED*) complaints into a court or something, then he could cite that but he doesn't because it NEVER HAPPENED ORRRRR it was something like a muttered half under the breath comment at the diner in town that he heard, maybe a rumor, something a friend of a friend of a friend of his claims they heard... again, he could IGNORE that. He's just a little child and needs to grow up.
