? about no smoking in a government building

Ok, all government buildings are now smoke free. You aren't supposed to smoke within 30 feet of a government building. So....my question is What about the White House? Is that considered a government building? What if the President or a member of his immediate family was a smoker? Would they have to go to a designated smoking area?

Don't know what made this question pop into my head but there it is now maybe it will get out of my head. (tee hee)

Interesting. I should hope they would have to comply with the law. Maybe it's not considered a governement building, but a home, so it's ok. I don't know.

Actually, not ALL buildings are smoke free. Up here they can't smoke in the main gathering area, but they are allowed to smoke in their offices. Kinda fucked up being we passed a smoking ban!
