It didn't even look like the same person. I agree it appeared he was under the influence of something! I also saw that when he went to his last movie premier he wouldn't talk to the press (the press was asked to sign release slips for the film/documentry that is being filmed about his change to singer. The press refused). I think it is an act for the documentry.

I liked him as an actor. Hell, he looked like a bum! He looked like he didn't know what a comb or shower were. ughhhh! he looks NASTY GROSS!!!!

I don't think he was high, or stoned. I think he was f'ing with Letterman. I think he was acting for the whole thing, I laughed through much of it. (I watched the 10 min video on youtube).

He's a great actor. I hear it could be a staged thing for an upcoming film, and I could see that... but either way, the beard and the 'stache don't match! it's gotta be staged~
