FACT - embryos are neither children nor are they adults. They have no brothers or sisters or parents or children or friends or neighbors or coworkers who love them and depend upon them.
FACT - Embryos are important too, even in my not-so-religious opinion, but to put them first before living breathing human beings who are entwined in their society, who's loss would have SO MUCH More Real Meaning is just plain SICK.
Thank goodness we have a sane President again!

More wasted money. Adult stem cells have actually cured something. The others have not done a dam thing. If so the private sector would be spending billions on research. There was no law preventing this.
Private companies are putting there money into adult stem cells because they know that embryonic stem cell research is useless. I could care less if a person has an abortion or not matters not to me. But if this showed any hint of progress the private sector would be all over it.

Adult stem cells have only been more promising because they were the only ones that Bush and his republican religious FANATICS would permit. Other stem cells showed FAR MORE PROMISE but were not permitted by those NUTJOBS.
for the same reason, NOT THE ONE YOU ESPOUSE, private companies have indeed put their resources towards the type of stem cells that were legal and NOT towards those that are most promising since BUSH and his ASSHOLE buddies made those illegal. Bush and his ASSHOLE buddies don't want diseases to be cured. That is the ONLY explanation. That is a lie TGIX. The private sector are the ones that are putting the money into adult stem cell research. Yes the Bush did allow embryonic stem cell research. Just didn't put as much money as and allow new lines for GOVERNMENT RESEARCH.
IT IS A MYTH THAT PRIVATE SECTOR COULD NOT GET THERE OWN EMBRYONIC STEM CELLS THEY COULD. They were allowed to spend as much money as they wanted. However they also know embryonic stem research is going know where and it is a wast of money. No prevented them from doing there own research. Bush just said we have so many lines of embryos and that is all we are going to allow. He never banned it not at all just did not put any money into it.
