People who repeat the same thing over and over and over and over! I think I got it the first 5 times you told me, buy a tape recorder to avoid vocal strain! Yesh!

Relatives who choose to go into long winded stories about relatives I don't know and couldn't give a flying fig about.

I have an I-Pod touch and can't tell you how many people just come and take it outta my hands so they can look at it. I don't mind that they wanna look but ask first!

People actually yank it ...

People actually yank it out of your hand? I've learned the hard way not to do that.

Ok, kiddies. Gather 'round...story time!

I was in 8th grade Social Studies class. We were going over different cultures and each student was to bring in something that represented their own nationality. The kid behind me had brought in a carving made by his father. It was a flat piece of wood with beautiful and intricate carvings on it. I turned around and grabbed it out of his hands. As I turned quickly to face the front of the class I dropped it. Instinctivly I clamped my legs together to keep it from falling on the ground. I managed to stop the lovely hand carved wood.....WITH my legs. It got caught between my knees and cracked in half. I don't ever recall a classroom as quiet as that one was at that moment. I heard a few whispers from someone on the other side of the room as I sheepishly handed back the broken and once beautiful carving. I happen to catch eyes with the boy that I stole it from. Saying he was a tad horrified would be the understatement of the year. Next class was lunch. I feared I would be ridiculed and yelled at by fellow students for breaking it. Luckily no one ever said anything to me about it.

I felt (and still feel) like such an ass.
