Compean and Ramos are finally FINALLY "freed"

Bush did it.

It is one thing he did - *almost* right.

He did too little and too late but he did free them, sort of...

He did too little because he only granted them clemency so they will still have a conviction on their record and more incarceration time and parole. That SUCKS.

As convicts with no pardon, Compean and Ramos will not be able to get a whole host of jobs due to Bush being an ass.

He did it too late because, being convicted based entirely upon the testimony of a scum bag piece of crap drug smuggler who was granted immunity and who was smuggling 750 lbs. of illegal drugs into our country even as he testified, that is just putrid sick and evil of Bush not to grand absolute PARDONS to these two fine border patrolmen.

But at least Mr. Bush did something; doing too little too late is still better than never. I guess we should all go kiss Bush's feet now for being such a nice putrid sick evil excuse for a human being.

Not a single person I have heard from, either left or right wing or center, has said this was anything better than feces on their faces that Mr. Bush squatted upon. Of course the right wing won't put in quite in those terms but how else can this situation be accurately described? These fine family men, working so diligently to protect our country's borders, shot a drug smuggler after he threatened their safety, and and then, instead of being hailed as heroes, the Bush maniacs let them whither away in a prison worse than Guantanimo! If that isn't putrid sick and evil than nothing is.
