SALT LAKE CITY (June 23) - When he realized he'd been separated from his family on a weekend hike in a northern Utah forest, 9-year-old Grayson Wynne's thoughts turned to television.
I read about that yesterday. I can't imagine how scared I would be at 9 years old and lost in the woods. On the flip side, it kind of saddens me that this boy learned it from a tv show rather than his dad or another adult. If you're going horseback riding in the woods, I would think that survival training would be something they would at least briefly go over.
LOL, conana, true, but just think, parents can NEVER hence forth say how TV does NOTHING to build the mind, right?
Haha. Damn straight. Thanks to TV, I now know that "garage" is fancy-talk for "car hole."
